It has been my goal from the beginning of this blog to try and post something for the girl’s blog every day or at the most every other day. I’m doing this for two reasons really – one so that I don’t forget and two so that their audience remembers what our children are all about. I want to remember how special these kids make me feel and to try and share with anyone wanting to read this how special these girls really are – how special all children really are. Of course, with work and fun and everything that steals our week away it’s sometimes difficult to get pictures to fill in the blank spaces around these words, but digital cameras have made it a heck of a lot easier.
It’s hard to imagine it, but just a few years ago we didn’t even have digital cameras, and then when we did get them they were of a resolution that you still had to keep a film camera. Now, not so much. My first digital camera was a Nikon at 2.1MP. Now we take pictures with 8 and 10MP cameras without thinking about it. Even mama’s cell phone has a 3.2MP camera on it, which is a great resolution considering that it’s strapped to something with an alternate purpose – a telephone. We won’t even go into that technology and where it was 20 years ago. Now, with that technology, we snapped a few photos of the girls tonight and we’ve posted them here to share with our friends. Hope you enjoy…
