Braly School (where mama teaches) was having their second annual Halloween Happening tonight and we decided to drop on over to enjoy some of the treats, fun and festivities. It turned out to be a wonderful opportunity to see some friends, check out some very fun costumes, and enjoy some very tasty snacks.
Of course, we did realize at one point during the festivities that Braly has a very strict policy, including a very reflective sign reading “NO DOGS ALLOWED”! Fortunately, that didn’t change our night at all and the girls were still excited heading over for dinner and then back to the house for bed.
I don’t know how many of you are getting out to these parties when you have the chance, but my personal opinion remains that they’re smoething that shouldn’t be missed. The electricity and excitement from the children involved is overwhelming and just watching my own children and how they react to the other children and their costumes is truly amazing. Both of the girls (a dog and a cat this year) get completely animated (and in character) when they get their costumes on and it’s quite fun. Throw in a cupcake or some other sweet treat and it becomes that much more exciting, animated and loud. Did I mention that these things are all VERY loud?? Fun, an loud – don’t miss it!

P.S. Sunday is baby Theo’s birthday party and Boo at the Zoo, so stay tuned for more exciting pictures to come!
