I’ve learned a lot about women over the last three years - or perhaps I should say girls - and almost all of it has been from my daughters. Sure, my wife has taught me some, but Sofi and Natalie - kids in general perhaps - have a different view on so many differnt things that sometimes I end up simply sitting back and laughing at the whole thing.
Take for instance, this last week, trying to work with the girls at cooking. “We” were making a lasagna and for their part they were “helping” to put cheese on top of the prepared meal. So I simply grated some mozarella for them to sprinkle over the top. Of course… they didn’t sprinkle, because that’s not so much fun. It’s much more fun to eat, toss, and play with… and who knew that you could have that much fun with cheese?
Equally entertaining would have to be the Mommy and Me tumbling that mama and the girls have been going to. I didn’t get to participate, because it’s during the week, but looking at some of these photos I can totally imagine how funny this must have been. I mean, really, they’re little people doing big people tasks and laughing through the whole thing. I know they’re laughing… I know we’re laughing.
