On Saturday mornings we typically take Babi home to Watsonville, and it’s always fun to try and do something right after that. Fortunately, soccer is usually over by 9:30 and on this Saturday we left a beautiful San Jose sunny day to head over Highway 17 to Watsonville. The weather for our entire trip was marvelous - the sun was out and even in the beach communities the weather was nearing 70. With that in mind we thought we could head up the coast and enjoy some time on the beach.
Unfortunately, the cloud cover descended just north of Santa Cruz and we were wrapped in fog and heavy cloud cover all the way through Half Moon Bay, where we stopped to enjoy a stroll through the city. The beach was windy and cold, but the girls had fun all the same. It’s nice to see them get some time out in the sand, and even though the cold and wind you could hear them laughing.
