I think almost everyone that knows me will agree that I can’t sing.  I can’t even clap in tune.  Most people prefer I don’t even hum.  Fact of the matter is that I can’t really dance either.  Fortunately, Sofi and Natalie are both really into singing and dancing and this Thanksgiving Natalie was really rocking out with her own rendition of Alabama (no, you haven’t heard this one before!)

We didn’t get as many photos at thanksgiving dinner as I would have liked, but we had a wonderful time all the same.  Dinner was great, the company was wonderful and the children had a wonderful time.  Mama did an absolutely wonderful time of entertaining the children and there were even games like pin the hat on the turkey and potato races.  And, while I know the children enjoyed the games, they really enjoyed the prizes, which made everything a wonderful success.

It’s not often that dessert is something other than chocolate, and it’s not often that dessert is a participatory event, either.  To change that, the other night we decided to try and make some fancy rice-crispy squares (er, circle?) that came with a decorative topping.  The girls had a wild time putting the red and orange on top and although there were supposed to be candies on top, too, they were eaten outright before making it to the top.  Loads of fun.
