The girls seemed to have a great Friday, which included a trip to Cosentinos, the local market, followed by a chocolate milk shake. Yummy. Cosentino’s has a wonderful down-home attitude and some of their stores have these smaller, children’s shopping carts. The girls can’t go in there without running to see if they’re the kids that will get them today. Some days this have to share. This day they each got their own, and as you can see they filled them to the brim before putting their foods up onto the counter.

We had a great time this weekend, and Audrey’s birthday party at My Gym was sort of like the icing on the cupcake… if you know what I mean. I took over 500 photos, too many to share here, but there are tons in the gallery. Feel free to check them out. Definitely fun times for everyone. The people were great, the fun was there, and Audrey definitely looked like a little princess.
What a wonderful Saturday. I know that I should probably be writing this into a single weekend post; especially since it’s now Monday, but we did so much this weekend and had such a good time that I am forced to break it out into two posts or I will never get in the required number of pictures. Sofi and Natalie, after all, have their fans, and their fans want photos!
I’ve learned a lot about women over the last three years – or perhaps I should say girls – and almost all of it has been from my daughters. Sure, my wife has taught me some, but Sofi and Natalie – kids in general perhaps – have a different view on so many differnt things that sometimes I end up simply sitting back and laughing at the whole thing.
Coming back to work after spending a weekend with the family is always difficult. For a variety of reasons, this one more than most, but fortunately I have a countless number of photos to keep me company and remind me how much fun we had these past few days.
Finnaeus Luigi Antonelli was born on September 9th, 2007 and our friends, the Antonelli’s brought him home on Monday, October 29, 2007 – making him now part of the “extended family.” Best of all, in the selection of names “Finn” was mama’s recommendation, so technically he is as much our dog as theirs. Obviously, cute as a button, but then all our children are that way. Luc, in the middle, is their son, and he’s pretty much our family, too.
Welcome Finn!

Trick or Treat! The doorbell just rang for the 100th time tonight and the costumes keep getting better and better. Of course, I think that my puppy and kitty were the two best costumes out there, and the sheer excitement that Sofi and Natalie showed tonight is nearly unrivaled. Even now at a little after 8:00 they’re still hyped up and raring to go – running to the door every time someone comes up, eager to hand out the treats that we’re giving out. Very fun.
