I am always thankful that we live so close to downtown Campbell, because they have managed to keep the small-town heart while existing right in the middle of the Silicon Valley. This weekend they had their annual downtown festival that included Santa, snow and a winter wonderland for the children. It was extra special for us, because we were joined by Kitai (the now world-famous pooch and television personality), from http://www.cutestdogever.com/and his ”manager,” newlywed Stacie Tamaki .
The girls got to “ride” a motorcycle for the first time as the Campbell police had their bikes there for children to sit and admire. I’m amazed at how naturally children gravitate to these things and both girls leaned into it without hesitation. Too much fun. The city was also providing popcorn through a variety of clubs and we should really be thankful to everyone that was involved. The Kiwanis and Rotary seemed to be the two largest supporters, and I am really thankful for all they brought to the party.
Finally, although not nearly least exciting, the girls got to spend some time with Santa, and for the first time every they welcomed the opportunity to climb on his lap and tell him what they wanted. Both girls said they wanted the same thing - a doll-house, although Natalie, mispronounced it “dog-house,” we got the idea. Nothing like “from the lips of angels,” for a hint. For the record, just in case it gets to the North Pole, this was by far the best Santa that I’ve seen in a while. No rush, no quick snap of a photo, and a genuine willingness to talk to the children. Santa, thank you.

Very fun and slightly wet evening. You missed the downtown merchants pelting the cops with snowballs at the end of the night. LOL. Mom will be posting snow pictures of me on my dog blog soon. Can I post the one with Sofi and Natalie too?
Hugs from Mom and doggie kisses from me,
Kitai

Of course, we always love seeing our pictures on YOUR (http://www.cutestdogever.com) site, since we know how happy we are to have you on ours. Sorry that we missed the snow fight - we really like those, too, but bedtime is bedtime and there was already way more excitement than we could handle.
Hugs and Smooches back!
