This past Sunday we made a trip over to Cupertino to walk at one of the parks near to the resevoir. I’m sure that it has a name, but for the life of me I can’t remember. I do remember, however, that it’s very near to Deep Cliff Golf Course. The girls really seemed to enjoy walking around the park and we even got to stop into the 4H gardens and goat farm to view the late harvest and goats. Both of the girls had a lot of fun petting, calling out to, and feeding the goats. I think the goats had a good time, too.
After our hike we went to lunch at the new Whole Foods in Cupertino and I can only say that it’s HUGE. The size of the place is just amazing. The selection is outstanding, too, and our lunch was very good, although the girls didn’t eat very much. Sunday night we broke out the gingerbread house from Costco. The girls thought it was a box of candy-canes, and seemed pleasantly surpised that it was more candy than just that. The only problem was keeping them from eating it all right then and there. So… it stands now, a little lop-sided, but good and ours.
We tried Sunday night for Christmas in the Park, San Jose’s annual downtown festival, but it was overwhelmingly crowded and we only stayed for a short while. We plan on making another visit on a weekday and more pictures will come from that.
