So I know that it’s been a while since I last wrote and I even said in my last posting that I would be getting back to it, but work has been busy and our extraordinarily fun life has been even more enjoyable the past few weeks. We have been getting out and we have been enjoying everything the beautiful weather has to offer.
This past weekend we took in the farmer’s market and then took our feast home and made dinner with it. The girls had a wonderful time and Sofi actually made her fist Boboli pizza while Natalie made the salad. The food was outstanding! Not to mention a heck of a lot of fun to make. I enjoyed every minute of it, and since they cooked Mama and I even agreed to do the dishes while they snacked on some chocolate for dessert.
On Saturday we took in the Prusch farm in San Jose. I’m not sure if the girls were more excited about the farm or the fact that their cousin Meliisa joined in the fun. All in all it was a great experience and they got to take in the animals and the park with Melissa in tow.
For a free place, Prusch farm (I hope I’m spelling that correctly) has quite a bit going for it and their grounds are always extremely clean. The farm has pigs and birds (can you believe someone stole their bunnies????) and cows and goats. We fed the goats, even though the sign said that we weren’t supposed to feed the animals. They also have a very nice park with swings, a play structure, and plenty of slides.
Definitely someplace that eveyrone should check out, and if it’s a little drive, pack a lunch. It’s worth the trip.
