Children are natural mimics who act like their parents despite every effort to teach them good manners. ~Author Unknown
Mama and the girls having a standing Tuesday play-date which allows the girls to get together with their friends Audrey, Cole and Sydney. Not everyone can make it every week, but it’s usually at least one group or the other. And, with all the special deals going between the Zoo and the Children’s Discovery Museum, it always feels like they’re up to something fun.
This past week they did lunch and play at the local zoo - Happy Hollow - which we get into for free thanks to our association with the very kid friendly Oakland Zoo. Joining there has proved to be a very good investment. The free admission, rides and play areas make for a great day and it seems like everyone really enjoyed getting out, watching the puppets and riding the rides. Mama even came home with a selection of photos for me to share in their fun.
