Watching the news in California is always a treat. And on weekends that show other parts of the counry in blizzrd-like conditions it’s always nice to know that we have the beach. With that in mind, we took the girls for a coastal trip this weekend - with a unique destination in mind; see the next post - and one of the places that we stopped was a small beach just south of Half Moon Bay. It was sunny, in the mid 60s, and when protected by the rocks downright warm.
As you can imagine the girls loved spending time on the beach, including burying each other in the sand, running away from the waves, and just digging. Mama and I had a lot of fun just watching them and laughing at their never-ending antics. The road trip seemed to be getting the best of Sofi when she really started to get into the afternoon, because at some point we noticed that she was sharing a bit of baby-butt-crack! Oh my, where have we come!
