One of the local K-5 private schools off Union Avenue had a special Easter treat this past weekend, and after seeing the Easter Bunny announcing the event we swung a quick u-turn and decided to take a peak. We arrived with the first group of 15 or so children - most of whom seemed to be students of the school - and we got to follow the bunny himself before starting off on a very exciting Easter treasure hunt.
They had a pretty cool setup and each room was staged with different activities - every one that offered a prize. I really appreciate that they put this on for free and that they took extra special care to make sure that each child got a prize at every event. My children loved it and we hope that they will continue to do this in the years to come. It all ended with a special hug from the Easter Bunny itself.
